Superheroes - The Script

Superheroes - The Script All the life, she has seen All the meaner side of me They took away the prophet's dream For a profit on the street Now she’s stronger than you know A heart of steel starts to grow All his life, he's been told He’ll be nothing when he’s old All the kicks and all the blows He will never let it show Cause he’s stronger than you know A heart of steel starts to grow When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been struggling to make things right That’s how a superhero learns to fly (Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power) When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been working every day and night That’s how a superhero learns to fly (Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power) All the hurt, all the lies All the tears that they cry When the moment is just right You'll see fire in their eyes Cause they're stronger than you know A heart of steel starts to grow When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been struggling to make things right That’s how a superhero learns to fly (Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power) When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been working every day and night That’s how a superhero learns to fly (Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power) Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power She's got a lions in her heart A fire in her soul He's a got a beast in his belly That's so hard to control Cause they've taken too much hits Taking blow by blow Now light them up, stand back, watch them explode She's got a lions in her heart A fire in her soul He's a got a beast in his belly That's so hard to control Cause they've taken too much hits Taking blow by blow Now light them up, stand back, watch them explode When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been struggling to make things right That’s how a superhero learns to fly (Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power) When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been working every day and night That’s how a superhero learns to fly (Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power) Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power Oh yeah Every day, every hour Turn the pain into power Ooh yeah Woah When you've been fighting for it all your life You've been struggling to make things right That’s how a superhero learns to fly The Meaning Of Superheroes songs: The song covers a poor father and daughter in their struggle for dignity and a future. He fights for his dignity as a father, all the while knowing that she constantly suffers their poverty. That their poor isn't his fault - he's fighting for the prophet's dream of a brighter future, fighting against the results of callous uncaring business - they took away the prophet's dream for a profit on the street. But that pain is the forge for a heart of steel - as long as you fight. When you've been fighting for it all your life, you've been struggling to make things right, that’s how a superhero learns to fly. True heroes don't glide to an easy victory. True heroes are the ones who know what pain feels like. That makes them strong... and understanding.

My Bali Experience

on the last holiday, my family and I went to bali. we leave home on Sunday. First we went by a car from bandung to soekarno hatta international airport and continue our trip by a plane. We arrived at bali at night, and then we checked in at the hard rock hotel that near to kuta beach. After taking a nap in the hotel, my family and I decided to go to kuta beach first because it was not really far from our hotel. There my brother and I swim on the beach and my parents only stayed at the beach side enjoyed the sunbathe. In the afternoon we eat at one of restaurant near Kuta beach. On the next day, we went to tanah lot. Tanah lot was a nice place. It was lovely place for taking photo. The wave so rough, so do the wind. We saw so many tourists there. In the evening, we went back to the hotel. Than we took a bath and took a rest. On the third day, we spent out time on tanjung benoa beach. We played water sports at there. We drove banana boat and speed boat. In the afternoon, we went to penyu island to see unique animals such as big turtles, snake, and sea birds. The fourth day, my family and I went to a place which was full of monkeys called “Alas Kedaton”. Actually I was a litle bit afraid when I was in “Alas Kedaton”, but my father convinced me that it would be fine. My father was right, there I took some pictures with the monkeys and they were friendly. After that, we moved to the most amazing and beautiful place I have ever visited called “Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK)”. That place was so wide. The statue that built there was very big and nice. I was wandering how could they bulit such a nice place. Of course, my family and I did not want to miss such an excellent place to take our pictures. When we were taking pictures, we heard a music that came from somewhere. Then, we found the place from where the music came from. It came from a nice place, it was look like an auditorium. There was showed traditional Balinese dance. That was very great to see such a dance. Because the day already turned dark, we went back to the hotel. The last day, it was the time for shopping. So, my family and I went to traditional market called “Sukowati”. I was very happy to be there. I wanted to buy anything I want. I felt that the time moved so fast inside the market, when we went out from the market it was already 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Then, we went back to the hotel and pack our bags because we need to go back to Lampung the next day. That was amazing holiday for me. I hope I can go to Bali again next time.

My Disneyland Experience

I was 12 years old, and it was school’s holiday and we take that time for experience what Disneyland looks like. It was my first time visited Disneyland, actually I have visited it for 3 times. But I’ll tell you about my first experience about Disneyland. We waited for May to roll around, and when it finally did, I couldn't believe it.

On our first day we didn't actually go to the park right away but instead had breakfast with the characters at the HongKong DisneyLand Hotel's Enchanted Garden restaurant

The entrance was like walking into a small Italian garden through a tunnel of vines and greenery. There was a marble fountain at the end of the walkway, and to the right it entered into the restaurant.
The food was great, and offered a good mix of Chinese and western breakfast dishes, along with a kids buffet. As with everywhere at Hongkong Disneyland, the cast were exceptional.

The characters that joined us that morning were Mickey himself, wearing his normal outfit, and Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto all wearing chef outfits. I asked a cast member if we could get a group shot of all the characters as we left, and to my surprise we were allowed.

We started to Hongkong Disneyland Park, Entering under the big green archway into the park area we saw ahead of us the fountain that you always see pictures of online from this park.

Unique and very cool looking it is a statue of a happy whale spurting water from his spout. The water shoots out quite high and atop it is Mickey riding a surf board.

The park is exceptionally clean, and beautifully maintained. The cast are amongst the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met at a Disney park, and they all seem to genuinely love Disney too, which makes it a whole lot better.

We begin our tour of the park where it always begins in the Magic Kingdoms, on Main Street. Hongkong Disneyland’s
main entrance sports a train station.

There is a City Hall, a Fire House, an Emporium, an Opera House, and yet they all seem to have something a bit different about them. I'm not talking anything major, but they just look newer, fresher, and have slightly different colours or brickwork.
Now we venture into the jungles of Adventureland to see what it has to offer.

Adventureland  takes a lot of its inspiration,  Adventureland with the tree filled more intimate and winding walkways.
Here in Adventureland the Liki Tikis are listed. They also list the Rafts to Tarzan’s Treehouse and Tarzan’s Treehouse itself as separate attractions.

Moving onto the attractions now, and we begin with the Festival of the Lion King. I was actually expecting this show to be the same as the one in the Animal Kingdom.

The last attraction for Adventureland is the Jungle River Cruise.
When the Imagineers designed the park though they still wanted a Rivers of America like area, where traffic moves and it gives more of a sense of depth and reality to the land. So they came up with the Rivers of Adventure.

What makes Adventureland and the Jungle Cruise a little more interesting is that there seem to be a lot more vantage points from which you can see the boats going round the Rivers of Adventure.

Next up on my tour is Fantasyland.
Fantasyland in HK like the whole park is in need of more.
Overall it is a pretty land and has some good attractions.

It does have the three spinning rides, a Winnie the Pooh, "it's a small world" and a PhilharMagic. It also has an excellent musical revue show called the Golden Mickeys.

"it's a small world" is in an area outside the train track, which meant you had to go under a bridge.

The Golden Mickey's is at the Storybook Theater near "it's a small world", and is meant to be an awards ceremony for the greatest Disney Classics. In amongst the loose storyline are stunning musical scenes from mvies including The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
An excellent show, and definitely worth seeing more than once.

The last one is Fantasy Gardens, which is a character meet and greet area. Although not particularly extravagant, the little themed huts are set in nice surroundings, complete with topiaries. Each hut has a different personality of it’s own, and reflects the characters you can normally meet there.

Let us begin with the overall look and feel of Tomorrowland.

The buildings in Tomorrowland are also somewhat grey and sterile looking, although they do have some splashes of colour to them here and there.

I came to the Stitch Encounter, The Stitch Encounter cleverly utilises some dead space under Space Mountain to house the attraction.
The attraction is essentially the same, complete with the chase at the end with Gantu. Of course some presentations are in Chinese and some are in English. Then I tried to try Space Mountain ride, Overall as a ride it is fun, if somewhat cramped. The first half of the ride can be the first time you ever ride it though as it feels incredibly slow, but about half way through the speed picks up and is more like a roller coaster. And Last on Tomorrowland I tried Autopia Attraction.

The biggest and best new thing is the Flights of Fantasy Parade which debuted earlier this year and features eight main units.
These include: the opening Dumbo / title float. It is very small and is accompanied by musicians. The second I guess is technically the first main float of the seven main units. It is the super cool Mickey and friends airship. Unit three is Winnie the Pooh and friends. Unit four is the Princesses upon their swan. Unit five is the jungle friends (Lion King, Jungle Book etc). The sixth is Tinker Bell in her neat self-crafted balloon. Seven is my personal favourite – the Stitch float, and eight is the Toy Story gang. the word “Soundsational”, they sing “Flights of Fantasy”.

I finally understood what people meant when they said what a magical place it was. I could feel the happiness all around me. It was almost overwhelming. For a twelve year old little girl to understand and recognize the goodness and amazement that a place had to offer still shocks me when I think back to that week we spent there. Our last night there, we spent in the park watching the annual parade. There were fireworks, Disney characters, floats - It was nothing but pure magic. I swear I could have had tears in my eyes. The funny thing is, though - I know I wasn't the only one who was feeling it. You could see it on the faces of every other boy and girl who had finally been given the chance to experience the wonder that Walt Disney so graciously intended to create. I realize that I keep repeating the world magical, but honestly, it is the best way to describe the holiday my family and I took there. It was nothing short of unforgettable.
